Important product information
Please note the following important information
Our products are manufactured strictly according to original Ayurvedic recipes to achieve the harmonizing and health-supporting effects described in Ayurveda. Traditional Ayurvedic knowledge represents a recognized science in Indian culture, passed on and practiced by renowned scholars and practitioners, and promoted by government agencies.
However, the millennia-old Ayurvedic teachings are also based on principles and perspectives different from those of the "Western" science we are familiar with. Since our descriptions of the significance and functions of Ayurvedic nutritional supplements (rasayanas) are based on the findings of Ayurveda, we do not claim any effects in the sense of the science we are familiar with. In particular, the aspects of harmony and individual inner balance have no equivalent in our science, so there is no evidence of effectiveness for many of the effects described in Ayurveda in the sense of Western science.
What is Ama?
The term "Ama" is mentioned in many places in Ayurvedic texts. The literal translation of "Ama" is "undigested." According to Ayurvedic scriptures, "Ama" arises when the food we consume is not properly digested due to poor eating habits or weak Agni (= digestive fire). According to Ayurvedic teachings, "Ama" is described as a type of waste product in the body that can hinder all kinds of metabolic processes. There is no equivalent in Western science for this term, "Ama," which we have translated into English as "metabolic waste."
Information about our nutritional supplements
Our nutritional supplements are based on millennia-old original recipes from Ayurvedic texts. They have been used with great success since ancient times. However, we do not claim efficacy in the sense of allopathic medicine. For the treatment of illnesses, please consult a physician.
