Experience the perfected sounds of nature in a unique concert experience. For the fifth consecutive year, MERU Vlodrop presents a summer concert of Gandharva-Veda music, which was developed from natural sounds and rhythms over 4000 years ago.

Maharishi Gandharva Veda is more than music: it is the sound of nature, expressed in wonderfully relaxing melodies by great masters. In Vedic sound and music therapy, it is successfully used for healing.

Once again, some of the greatest masters of classical Indian music will be featured.

MERU is delighted to announce the renowned flautist Rakesh Chaurasia, who received instruction from his uncle, the legendary master Hariprasad Chaurasia, since childhood.

Rakesh Chaurasia is known for his incredibly beautiful and captivating Raga melodies, which flow from his Bansuri flute in perfect purity.

He will be accompanied on the Tabla by Vijay Ghate, one of today's most sought-after percussionists in India. Vijay Ghate is highly esteemed by both Indian and Western musicians for his clarity, skill, and precision in complex Tabla compositions.

In the second part of the concert, Utsav Lal will perform, one of the most creative Indian pianists and Raga composers. Utsav Lal is among the world's top pianists and has received the coveted title of "Young Steinway Artist." His creative expression of the feelings and emotions of the Ragas, his unique style, and his innovative interpretations are widely acclaimed worldwide.

He will be accompanied on the Tabla by Sandip Bhattacharya, also a very renowned percussionist who has performed with many great artists of Classical Indian Music.

The planned duet between the two great artists Rakesh Chaurasia and Utsav Lal promises to be an unforgettable experience.
