Dosha note
The combination of vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom and aniseed gives these spiced biscuits a wonderful warmth.
- Vata: It is balanced by the rich ghee and the sweet, aromatic spices.
- Pitta: Its mild sweetness and subtle spices provide a pleasant soothing effect without adding any extra heat.
- Kapha: Enjoy the flavour, but it’s best to stick to small portions.
The finely balanced spices harmonise Vata and soothe Pitta. Kapha can be easily stimulated, so Kapha types should enjoy these pastries in moderation.
