How to Make Amalaki Bio Super Herb a Part of Your Routine

According to traditional Ayurvedic guidance, Amalaki is best taken in the morning on an empty stomach for its rejuvenating (Rasayana) effect. When used to support digestion, it may be consumed shortly before meals to kindle Agni (digestive fire), or after meals to help cool Pitta.

Ayurveda also recommends an appropriate Anupan (carrier) to enhance its action. For Vata dominance, Amalaki is traditionally taken with a small amount of warm ghee. For Pitta dominance, it may be taken with normal water, fresh juice, or a little honey. For Kapha dominance, it is traditionally consumed with a little honey or warm water.
