Power balls
Slowly toast the sesame seeds in a frying pan without any fat until they give off a delicate aroma. Finally, briefly toast the spices with them. Pound half the seeds in a mortar until they burst open. Wash the raisins and soak them in a little hot water for a quarter of an hour.
Finely chop the dates, then roughly purée them with the raisins, honey and sesame paste using a blender. If the mixture is too thick, add a spoonful of hot water. Roughly chop the cashew nuts. Now place all the ingredients in a large bowl and knead well. With wet hands, shape the mixture into balls of any size you like.
