Rice flake porridge

Heat the milk in a deep pot and stir in the rice flakes over low heat, stirring constantly. Add the ghee and spices, as well as dried fruit and almonds. Continue to cook until a porridge forms (five to ten minutes). If you want a thinner consistency, add another cup of milk.
As variations, all types of cereal flakes can be used, but they need to be cooked longer than rice flakes, or freshly ground spelt groats, oat or wheat groats. You can also add other dried fruits of your choice to the porridge. Recommended spice variations include cinnamon, cloves, ginger / cinnamon, allspice, star anise or saffron and cardamom.
