Cooling Pitta Peppermint Tea for Warm Days
It's the mint that does it
Summer is Pitta time. Among other things, Pitta regulates digestion and body temperature and, influenced by the fire element, is directly connected to warmth, heat, and the sun. On hot days and as summer progresses, the Pitta influence in the body can increase. So that you can keep your cool even in hot situations, we have mixed you a drink that cools you from the inside when it's warm outside. Try it out.
Maharishi Ayurveda Summer Pitta Tea
Prepare the tea in the morning, and you'll be well-supplied for the midday heat.
Pour half a liter of boiling water over the tea bag and the mint or lemon balm leaves, and let steep for 10 minutes. Remove the tea bag and leaves, and let cool to room temperature. Add 1 tsp lemon juice, stir, and enjoy.
