Ayurveda Menu Dessert: Heavenly Tea Pastry Balls

Ayurveda Menu Dessert: Heavenly Tea Pastry Balls "Rama Putram"

Cream soft margarine/butter and sugar with a stand mixer or whisk, then add cumin and salt. Alternately stir in cream and the flour mixed with baking powder. Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Grease a baking sheet with sunflower oil/ghee. Form 30 balls with two spoons and place them on the baking sheet. Bake at 175-200 degrees Celsius on the middle rack for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown. The balls taste best when served warm.

TIP: Depending on taste, you can use cinnamon and additional cardamom instead of cumin.
