Autumn Shake with Apple, Pear & Honey

Apples, especially old garden varieties, are rich in important minerals such as potassium, which supports nerve and muscle metabolism. They contain a particularly high amount of vitamin C and digestive pectin.

Pears contain fewer minerals than apples, but also less acid. Therefore, this combination is a digestible treat even for those sensitive to acid. By the way, the vitamins are directly under the peel. That's why you shouldn't peel the fruit.

Preparation

Wash apples and pears, core them, and finely puree them with the peel in a food processor at high speed. Open cardamom pods, remove seeds, and grind finely in a mortar. Add a pinch of cardamom and a teaspoon of honey per glass, then puree again. If you prefer this delicious drink a little thinner, add organic apple juice to taste or a little water to reduce acidity.

Enjoy at room temperature.
